Building value for customers at every opportunity
Bell Incorporated has two unique sourcing capabilities that help us save on paper costsand pass those savings through to our customers.
Clay coated news board (CCNB). Bell Incorporated is the single largest purchaser of low-caliper CCNB, which is used in overnight envelopes and a variety of consumer goods items. As a result, we have unmatched purchasing power when buying this substrate and unmatched scale when converting it into packaging. Because of our experience in this market, we have developed exclusive, long-term sourcing agreements that provide further cost savings and protect against interruptions in paper supply. The Independent Carton Group (ICG). Bell Incorporated is a member of the ICG, an association of independently-owned and operated folding carton converters. Through the ICG Purchasing Program, ICG companies negotiate contracts with suppliers as a group. This gives ICG members access to raw materials and supplies (including paper, ink, plates, films and coatings) at costs that are competitive with the folding carton subsidiaries of the large, integrated paper mills. By combining the efficiency of buying through the ICG Purchasing Group with our low cost structure , Bell Incorporated can offer customers highly competitive pricing for virtually any folding carton packaging need. |
