BELL INCORPORATED PRODUCES FIRST PREPAID PRIORITY MAIL ENVELOPE PRESS RELEASE For immediate release Sioux Falls, SD, December 23, 2003 - Starting December 29, prepaid priority mail envelopes produced by Bell Incorporated will be available to U.S. Postal Service customers throughout the country. The new prepaid envelopes will feature the $3.85 Jefferson Memorial stamp printed directly on them. It is the first time that the Postal Service has offered prepaid priority mail envelopes. Bell was selected by the U.S. Postal Service to manufacture the new envelopes because of its leadership in the overnight and priority envelope market and its extensive security systems. Production of the pre-paid envelopes is handled in a segregated area that is monitored by armed security guards. All finished product is stored in restricted-access holding areas monitored by over $100,000 in surveillance equipment. Headquartered in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Bell Incorporated is one of the 20 largest independently-owned manufacturers of folding cartons in the United States. It is the world's largest producer of overnight envelopes. It also provides comprehensive packaging design, production, shipping and inventory services to a variety industries throughout North America and across the globe.
