BELL INCORPORATED NAMED "BUSINESS OF THE YEAR" BY SIOUX EMPIRE UNITED WAY Sioux Falls, SD, February 14, 2006 -- The Sioux Empire United Way held their annual Leadership and Volunteerism Recognition Event on February 14, 2006 where Bell Incorporated was named the United Way Business of the Year for their 2006 Campaign. Over 400 volunteers and community members attended this year's event to recognize over 950 volunteers, 39 partner agencies and numerous donation leaders in the community. The United Way Business of the Year award is given to a company or organization that has greatly benefited the United Way through its generosity and its employee involvement. This year Bell Incorporated increased employee participation from 70.7% to 87.7%, and they were able to achieve an impressive 55.8% annual increase in total giving. It shows that our employees are not only our greatest asset, but they are also a great asset to this community" said Bell Incorporated President and CEO, Mark Graham.
